Australia4 Pillows were past recommended replacement date.On enquiry I was told this was okay but surely the antibacterial properties decay over time ? Long time customer that will be shopping elsewhere .
Good afternoon Stephen, Thank you for your review. The date stamp on the pillow is not a use by date (so it won’t affect the performance of the pillow ) it is more there as a guide of when it might be time to change your pillow. And you are correct overtime the antibacterial properties will dissipate. We recommend changing a polyester filled pillow between 18 months – 2 years but this can also depend if the pillow is being used on a regular basis. If the pillow is on a guest bed or used as a spare than it would be a little longer. We also recommend using a pillow protector on all pillows as it helps preserve the pillow and assists with maintaining their shape.
