One of the biggest causes of allergies at night time is dust mites. These critters are microscopic bugs that feed on exfoliated human skin cells. These can be found in your mattresses, bed linen and pillows, but good news is they won’t bite or harm you! Using allergy sensitive bedding is the best way to prevent against these dust mites, as our materials inhibit their growth, as well as protect against mould and bacteria.
Our Tontine allergy sensitive range uses Ultrafibre® polyester filling that has been treated with Tontine BIOGUARD® to inhibit any growth of bacteria, mould and dust mites, which are key triggers for those suffering from asthma or allergies. For added assurance, our allergy sensitive range has been approved by the National Asthma Council of Australia’s Sensitive Choice® Program.
