Questions about this product

Does the Coolmax Memory Foam Pillow actually keep me cool?

It helps, mainly by keeping you drier. The Coolmax cover wicks moisture away from your skin so you stay cool, dry and comfortable rather than clammy. It will not feel icy to the touch, and memory foam naturally holds a little warmth, but the moisture wicking cover is designed for people who tend to wake up warm.

Can I use a pillowcase on the Coolmax pillow?

Yes, you will want one, but choose it with care. A thin, breathable pillowcase in cotton or linen lets the Coolmax cover keep doing its moisture wicking job. Thick, heavy or tightly woven synthetic pillowcases can trap heat and moisture and reduce the cooling effect you bought the pillow for.

Are there any downsides to a memory foam pillow like this?

A few things to know. Memory foam feels different from a fibre pillow: it moulds slowly to your head rather than plumping up, and you cannot scrunch or fold it into a new shape. Most people take a few nights to adjust, after which the steady, contoured support is what they notice most.

Is a cooling pillow like the Coolmax worth it?

It is worth it if you often wake up hot or sweaty around your head and neck. This pillow pairs a moisture wicking Coolmax cover with anti-microbial protection that helps inhibit mould, bacteria and dust mites. If you already sleep cool, a standard medium memory foam pillow may be all you need.

    Too Hard

My experience was not a good one. I would not recommend this if you like something a little on the softer side. Most uncomfortable and way too hard.

    too hard

Much harder and lighter than other memory foam pillows I've used before. Doesn't feel right at all to me. This grade of foam might be better in a contour pillow.
